With its distinct bitter, malty character, beer adds a wonderful flavor to many dishes. Chef Sharwin will experiment on adding the world’s most widely consumed alcoholic beverage, the beer, in different dishes.
“Usually, I like my beer served cold on a warm day, in a place where I can let loose and chill over a few bottles,” said Chef Sharwin. But aside from savoring the liquid goodness of the cold bitter brew, he also enjoys it subtly infused in a hot meal. “I love cooking with beer,” he added.
This Wednesday on “Curiosity Got the Chef”, he will make “Beer and Olive Bread” for a light snack, “Dynamite Beer Prawns” for appetizer, and “Mussel and Beer Pasta” for the main meal. Unlike beer, these intoxicatingly good dishes can be served to foodies of all ages.
Find out how to make these dishes on “Curiosity Got the Chef” this Wednesday (November 14) at 9:30 p.m. with encore telecasts on Saturday at 6:00 p.m. Sunday at 10:00 a.m. and Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. on the Lifestyle Network aired on SkyCable channel 52.
