Star Cinema opens 2018 with a bang as they bring us Jun Robles Lana’s laugh-out-loud comedy film, “Ang Dalawang Mrs. Reyes”. The film stars two of the country’s box-office queens, Judy Ann Santos and Angelica Panganiban as they play devoted wives Lianne and Cindy, respectively, who found out that their husbands were gay and were having an affair. After their shocking discovery, they decided to join forces to make sure that their exes don’t get what they took away from them: a happy ending.

JC de Vera first played a gay character in the 2016 indie film Best Partee Ever. He went way beyond his comfort zone for the role, which earned him the Best Actor award in the QCinema International Film Festival that year.

Gladys Reyes is best known for her unforgettable role as “Clara,” the antagonist to “Mara” (played by Judy Ann Santos) from the ABS-CBN hit teleserye, Mara Clara which started in 1992 and concluded in 1997. Thirteen years later, the two of them reunited for the 2010 medical drama series Habang May Buhay, with Gladys playing the antagonist Dra. Clarissa C. Briones to Judy Ann’s Nurse Jane Briones.
This 2018, their tandem are reunited once again, but this time, not as enemies but as BFFs in the movie.
