After reaching ₱200, 000, 000 mark on September 25, KathNiel’s “Barcelona: A Love Untold” has now reached ₱300, 000, 000 mark based on the post shared by Star Cinema executive Roxy Liquigan on Twitter.
He tweeted, “Hello P300 million worldwide!!! No1Movie2016 CONGRATULATIONS!!!”
The movie gross shared by Roxy is the total combined gross from local and international screenings of the movie.
Currently on top of this year’s box office list, the movie is still raking money as the movie continuously screens in cinemas nationwide and in other parts of the world.
Under the direction of Olivia M. Lamasan, “Barcelona: A Love Untold” revolves around Ely (played by Daniel Padilla), a young man who can’t get over his past love and Mia (played by Kathryn Bernardo), a young woman who is rebuilding her life. They will meet in Barcelona, Spain where they will unexpectedly fall in love.
