Despite his overflowing joy, Jake thinks that the public need not know everything about their relationship.
In an interview with Abante Tonite, Jake Zyrus gave a resounding yes when asked if he is happy at the moment. In fact, the singer even acknowledged the presence of his girlfriend.
According to Jake he is happy to let people know that he is currently in a relationship with Shyre Aquino. However, he believes that when it comes to smaller details, it should just be kept between the two of them.
“Happy ako na malaman niyo na I’m with someone. Pero siyempre, yung mga details, we are happy na yung feeling na kami na lang ang nakakaalam,” explained Jake.
On the other hand, despite some naysayers, Jake is firm in asking people to address him as Jake Zyrus and no longer Charice Pempengco.
He pointed out that although he respects Charice Pempengco’s former existence and achievements – now is a completely different story.
