Angelica Panganiban is rumored to be appearing in an upcoming show from ABS-CBN called “Mariposang Dagat.” It can be recalled that Angelica along with Gretchen Barreto and KC Concepcion were supposed to appear in a series called “Alta.” However, “Alta” was shelved for the time being by the Kapamilya Network.
In 1997, there was a Filipino film made titled “Mariposang Dagat.” It starred Ruel Vernal, Mat Ranillo III and Vivian Velez. It’s not known however if the new series by ABS-CBN will be patterned along the movie’s story.
