On May 6, the much awaited comeback of GMA’s Primetime Queen Marian Rivera to comedy happens, as she embarks on her newest project, “Tweets for my Sweet.”
In “Tweets for My Sweet,” Marian plays the role of Meg, who’s called ‘Sweet’ by her Lolo Boy (Chef Boy Logro). Chef Boy teaches Marian how to cook in the story and she becomes a chef herself. When her Lolo Boy dies, he tells her and her sister, Adele (Barbie Forteza), that their mother is still alive and they should look for her in Manila.
They then go to Manila and she works as a chef at the restaurant owned by Roderick Paulate where she meets Vilma (Nova Villa), the Ultimate Singing Cook and Waitress known as the Star for All Reasons. Also in the cast are Sheena Halili as a former rich heiress who’s now penniless, Elmo Magalona as Barbie’s love interest and balikbayan actor Mikey Bustos as Dexter the security guard.
