Jaclyn Jose shocked fans and fellow artists alike after announcing on Instagram that she will end her showbiz career once her daughter Andi Eigenmann decides to leave the limelight
The veteran actress first shared her contemplations about putting an end to her career on a now-deleted Instagram post, saying:
“’Pag nalu-lungkot ako ay ayaw ko na ikaw nagbibigay ng lakas ng loob ko to go on. Madalas pinanghihinaan ako ng loob ko kaya kita tinatawag. Mag-quit ba ako sa trabaho na ito o ituloy ko dahil sa iyo?”
This caught the attention of fellow actress Iza Calzado, who disagrees with Jaclyn’s brewing decision to call it quits.
“Hindi ka pwede mag-quit. Isa kang malaking inspirasyon sa aming mga artista. Mahigpit na yakap, Nay Jane. Love you!,” the actress replied.
Nay Jane then said to Iza that if Andi leaves showbiz, then she will leave as well.
It is speculated that Jaclyn’s reason for wanting to leave showbiz was because of recent issues that surround her daughter and granddaughter Ellie.
Just last April, Andi called out her daughter’s father, Jake Ejercito, once again on Twitter for trying to take Ellie away from her. She revealed that Jake has planned to file a joint custody petition after admitting in public that he is the father of the child after five years.
“You’ve been doing nothing but sit around as you watch your yaya do your job for you and you think you can be a better parent? Or was this court case not your decision too? Come on, grow a pair. This is why you lost me,” Andi said.
Jaclyn also delivered her tirade against Jake and his mother on Instagram last June.
” My grand child has a good heart, you know that I will not allow any one to take that away from her,” according to Jaclyn.
