In a digital conference, the actor gave a piece of his mind regarding the comparisons.
It’s been a while since Paulo Avelino starred in a teleserye. Soon, the Kapamilya hearthrob will have us drooling again as he makes a TV comeback in “The Promise of Forever.”
However, some viewers cannot help but compare the upcoming series to the famed Korean Drama “Goblin”.
The story of “The Promise of Forever” begins with a man destined to live forever. Similar to “Goblin” and even American film “Age of Adaline”, some speculate that the series is a rip off.
Paulo Avelino broke his silence on the matter in the upcoming teleserye’s digital conference. He stated that he has watched “Age of Adaline” and is sure the story is different. The actor also pointed out that the series has been in the works since 5 years ago.
“Nauna kami! Hahaha!,” exclaimed the actor.
Although he was enthusiastic, he was also firm about saying that the series he is working on is an original concept.
Former TV5 actress Ritz Azul and Former PBB Housemate Ejay Falcon will also be starring in “The Promise of Forever”.
