Playing the antagonist Dean Balbuena to Dingdong Dantes’ Pepe de Jesus alyas ‘Robin Hood,’ Sid Lucero’s chances of returning back to the second season of Alyas Robin Hood is impossible due to his transfer to the Kapamilya network.
Director of Alyas Robin Hood Dominic Zapata said that he would have created a comeback for Sid in the new season even after his character’s demise in the season finale last February.
“…We’ll welcome you with open arms because you did a hella good job,” according to Director Zapata about Sid’s performance in Alyas Robin Hood.
With regards to Sid’s return to ABS-CBN, director Zapata seemed happy for Sid. He said that he is glad with Sid’s recent induction to the cast of ABS-CBN’s hit TV show, Ang Probinsyano.
“…As far as I’m concerned, happy ako, even if you’re on the other network,” the director said.
Despite this, Director Zapata remained positive and offers a role for Sid in case he’s finished working with his newfound network.
“If you’re done there and we have a show for you, we have a role for you, come back.”
The offer, however, is not applicable for Alyas Robin Hood anymore as the director said that they already shifted the show’s storyline to a different direction.
Alyas Robin Hood Book 2 will be coming back on Monday, Aug. 14 featuring new characters played by Solenn Heusaff and Ruru Madrid.
