After a 5-month hiatus, GMA’s primetime action serye, ‘Alyas Robin Hood’ is back. This time the network used state-of-the-art cameras and film equipment to improve its production value according to director Dominic Zapata.
“It’s called an Amira. Ito ‘yung standard na ginagamit ng mga Koreanovela na pinapanood ninyo. ‘Yung ‘Descendants of the Sun’, ‘My Love from the Star,” Zapata said describing the new technology that will be used on filming the “Alyas Robin Hood” sequel.
“It’s just part of our commitment to the audience to always bring them world class quality show,” he continued.
Lead star Dingdong Dantes is also back to continue his role as “Pepe” in the series.
The actor voiced out his sentiments in coming back to the show after his long vacation.
“Alam mo ‘yung pakiramdam na parang it feels like home, pati ‘yung location pareho, ‘yung lahat kasi talagang na-miss namin ‘yung isa’t-isa,” he said.
Dingdong also said that he is excited to work with co-stars Solenn Heussaff, Ruru Madrid and Edu Manzano.
Asked about what lies beyond the new season, Dingdong said to expect “twice the action, twice the comedy, twice the drama, twice of everything and even more.”
“Alyas Robin Hood” will premiere in August on GMA Network.
