It really seems that Kris Aquino can no longer be accommodated in ABS-CBN because of an alleged executive from the network that’s blocking her from getting back in touch.
According to an article by Gorgy Rula, “May nagkuwento rin sa aming malabong makabalik si Kris sa Kapamilya Network dahil may isang executive na humaharang.”
He added, “Parang ayaw naming maniwala nang nalaman namin kung sino itong executive dahil malapit ito noon kay Kris.”
There were rumors that she’s having negotiations with a manager from rival network GMA Network and that there’s a pending show for her.
It can be recalled that Kris took a break from the show business in 2016 to focus on health and quality time with family. She left her self-titled TV show in ABS-CBN “Kris TV” for the said hiatus.
It’s been a year and many are waiting for her TV comeback. Everybody thought she’s returned in her much-publicized big switch to GMA Network with the travel series “Trip Ni Kris” only to be left hanging again when it got suspended after its pilot episode.
Now, Kris’ impending showbiz comeback still floats in the air. She has been in and out of news due to various hints of her return, from a possible Hollywood break, teaming up with a video-streaming company, and starring in a movie adaptation of a bestselling book.
We are yet to confirm where and how Kris would stage this comeback.
