Jennylyn Mercado’s “My Love From the Star” is reportedly having some difficulty when it comes to ratings because even if she’s popular, she’s the only one in the cast who’s not a newbie.
When people from the other camp starts to commend you for doing such a good work, it only goes to show that you’ve really done a good job. Some people from the Kapuso network recently admitted that they’re having a hard time with their own programs to win the AGB Nielsen TV ratings for primetime.
The guy from GMA Network, reportedly said that he admires how ABS-CBN makes their teleserye, particularly, “La Luna Sangre.”
“Malinis ang pagkakagawa at pagkakatahi ng istorya,” said the source. “He also acknowledge that it had always been ABS-CBN’s forte to come up with a world-class and high quality teleserye.
Another factor that the source had mentioned why they’re having a difficult time in toppling ABS-CBN’ shows was that GMA Network lacks in the number of celebrities.
Unlike with ABS-CBN, they seem to have almost all the popular local celebrities. The popularity factor also plays a big role in encouraging the viewers to watch a certain show or teleserye.
“Tulad ng ‘My Love From the Star,’ si Jennylyn lang ang sikat sa palabas na iyon. Magaling man siyang umarte pero hindi pa rin sapat iyon. Yung ibang kasama niya sa show, puro baguhan. Hindi kaya ni Jen na iangat ‘yung show ng mag-isa lang siya,” said the source from GMA Network.
