- Some people find Sharon Cuneta’s presence in “The Voice Teens” annoying; especially, when the Mega Star laughs her heart out.
But for Vice Ganda, her presence as one of the coaches gave “The Voice” a more delightful aura like never before.
On her guesting with late-night show “Gandang Gabi, Vice!”, host Vice Ganda played the epic surprised audition clip of singer Ehla Nympha.
During the blind audition, Ehla belted out “Chandelier”, a song by international singer Sia. The young singer sang the lyrics, “one, two, three, one, two, three, drink!” To which the Mega Star gestured “four” to replace the word “drink.” The clip has gone viral, gaining more than 3.3 million views in a span of one week on YouTube alone.
Sharon did not explain why she made that gesture; thus, Vice Ganda quipped, “At least tinuturuan n’ya tayong magbilang. Kasi paulit-ulit si Ehla na parang hindi n’ya alam, ‘Ano bang susunod sa three? One, two, three, one, two, three.’
He added: “Tapos sinagot na [ni Sharon], ‘four!’”
On a serious note, the comedian commended Sharon’s presence in “The Voice Teens”. He stressed, “Pero hindi, masaya! Masaya ang ‘The Voice’. Bonggang-bongga ka do’n. Pinaningning mo lalo ang ‘The Voice’.”
The Mega Star’s guesting in “Gandang Gabi, Vice!” was part of the show’s sixth anniversary special.
