Cristine Reyes admitted that she felt disappointed after she lost the “I Can Do That” title to comedian Wacky Kiray.
The Kapamilya actress revealed it during her guesting in “Tonight With Boy Abunda” on June 9, together with Wacky Kiray. She said, “Honestly, ang goal ko talaga ay manalo. Nag-expect talaga ako… I was heartbroken.”
Despited the disappointment, Cristine clarified that she did not think of Wacky Kiray as an undeserving winner. “Alam namin pareho na deserving kung sino man ang mananalo,” she added.
Cristine then confessed that she is just a competitive woman, who gives her best in everything she does. The 28-year-old emphasized: “Ganoon po talaga ako mag-commit. Kapag may pinasok ako na isang bagay, kapag sinabi ko’ng ko-commit ako dito, I’ll do it.”
On the other hand, Wacky Kiray, who was seated beside Cristine for the interview, reiterated the actress’ statement that both of them deserve to become the winner.
Cristine performed a fire dance for a score of 83.09%, more than 10% lower compared to a 93.75% score of Kiray, who did a shocking high-wire balancing act. The actress ended up as a first runner-up, edging out other finalists Gab Valenciano and Daniel Matsunaga.
