Maine Mendoza proves that she got what it takes to become the next sexiest woman in the Philippines!
On June 9, FHM Philippines released its partial list of the leading candidates for their “100 Sexiest in the World 2017” poll.
Surprisingly, the “Eat Bulaga” host emerged on the 10th position — beating acts such as Arci Muñoz, the current FHM Philippines’ sexiest Jessy Mendiola and FHM Philippines’ Hall of Famer Marian Rivera.
Netizens believed that Maine’s sudden rise in the list was because of her viral bikini photos she posted on Instagram. These photos were taken during her vacation in the Maldives. The host turned actress could be seen wearing different types of bikinis, ranging from high-waisted to classic tank.
It was the first time that the Kalyeserye star made it to the Top 10 in the partial results. The voting was supposedly ended on June 1 but for some unknown reason, the men’s magazine has extended the poll until June 15.
Towards the end of June 1, the partial list was dominated by Kapamilya stars. “La Luna Sangre” star Angel Locsin effortlessly sits inside the Top 5, while “It’s Showtime” host Nadine Lustre enjoys at the top of the poll.
However, the list turned upside down after the extention. Nonetheless, the two actresses maintain their lead, with veteran cover girl turned actress Ellen Adarna joins them in the Top 5.
