In the now-viral photo shared on Thursday, March 13, the couple can be seen smiling warmly as they lean on each other inside a helicopter. Though Cruz opted not to add a caption, the post itself spoke volumes, fueling more buzz about their romance.
Speculation about the actress and gambling mogul first surfaced in 2024, after they were spotted together at an event. The rumors gained more traction when a video of them kissing inside a cockpit arena circulated on social media.
Shortly after the clip went viral, Atong reportedly confirmed his relationship with Sunshine through a Bilyonaryo News Channel report in December.
Although neither Cruz nor Ang has publicly addressed their romance in interviews, the couple has been seen together on multiple occasions, including a duet performance of the OPM hit ‘Bakit Ngayon Ka Lang’ and attending a wedding together as principal sponsors.
Before her relationship with Ang, Sunshine Cruz was married to actor Cesar Montano for more than a decade. They separated in 2013, with their marriage officially annulled in 2018.
She then entered a six-year relationship with politician Macky Mathay, but the couple parted ways in 2022.
