Kapuso actress Gabbi Garcia has expressed her desire to see her close friend and fellow Kapuso star Barbie Forteza inside the ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ (PBB) Celebrity Edition Collab house.
In an interview with GMA Integrated News on February 11, Gabbi was asked which GMA Network artist she thinks would make an interesting housemate. Without hesitation, she mentioned Barbie, saying she believes people would love to see another side of the primetime queen beyond her acting roles.
“Si Barbie. We always see Barbie’s primetime princess side as an actor. I’m pretty sure people wanna get to know her on a deeper level,” she said.
Gabbi was also asked whether she would want her boyfriend, Khalil Ramos, to be part of the reality show. While she didn’t give a direct answer, she admitted that if Big Brother calls him, there’s not much she could do.
“Kung pinapatawag siya ni Kuya, wala tayong magagawa,” she said playfully.
However, she did share some advice for Khalil in case he ever becomes a housemate.
“Behave. Siguro more of—kasi he’s very introverted—just talk to people,” she added.
The ‘PBB Celebrity Edition Collab’ marks a landmark partnership between GMA Network and ABS-CBN, first announced on January 28, 2025. For the first time in the show’s 20-year history, Kapuso and Kapamilya stars will coexist under one roof, making it one of the most anticipated seasons in ‘Pinoy Big Brother’s’ legacy.
On February 9, Gabbi was officially introduced as one of the Kapuso hosts of ‘PBB’, alongside longtime Kapamilya hosts Bianca Gonzalez and Robi Domingo, during a live episode of ‘All-Out Sundays’.
