It’s official, “American Idol season 12″ judges are best selling artist Mariah Carey, returning “American Idol” judge Randy Jackson, hip-hop artist Nicki Minaj and country singer Keith Urban.
The announcement was confirmed by “American Idol” host Ryan Seacrest with a group picture with the new judges.
With the departure of Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez, we were left to wonder who would be brought in to replace them at the judges table for “American Idol’s twelfth season“, which is set to debut January 2013. The confirmation settles months of behind-the-scenes reports and speculation about the show’s panel that saw singers such as Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Nick Jonas, Adam Lambert and Kanye West floated as possible judges.
