Viva Entertainment is doubling down on its support for rising teen star Xia Vigor, showcasing her versatility as an all-around performer with the release of the music video for her debut single, ‘Aminin’.
The upbeat track, composed by singer-songwriter Marion Aunor, now has a visually captivating music video that perfectly complements Xia’s sweet and vibrant Gen Z image.
The video, which premiered on Vicor Music’s YouTube channel, follows the success of the single’s initial release in October 2024. ‘Aminin’ has already gained traction after being featured in Xia’s TikTok mini-series, ‘He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not’, alongside Charles Law. The series was part of Viva Artists Agency’s (VAA) efforts to expand Xia’s fan base and establish her as a teen idol.
Xia Vigor has come a long way since her breakthrough as the grand winner of ‘It’s Showtime’s’ ‘Mini Me 2’ segment in 2015, where she delighted audiences as a mini Selena Gomez. She later became a co-host on ‘Xia and Kuys’ with Vhong Navarro and Billy Crawford in the same year.
In 2017, Xia’s impersonation of Taylor Swift on ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids’ propelled her to nationwide fame, earning her praise for her impressive vocal and performance skills. By 2019, she had cemented her place in Philippine cinema as the youngest recipient of the Box Office Queen title from the 51st GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards for her role in the blockbuster film ‘Miracle in Cell No. 7’, where she starred opposite Aga Muhlach.
