Fans of Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino, also known as “KimPau,” have taken to social media to express their disappointment after rumors spread that their highly anticipated film, ‘My Love Will Make You Disappear,’ has been postponed.
The romantic movie, which was initially announced for a February 12, 2025 release, is now allegedly set to premiere in April, according to a photo from SM Cinemas that circulated online.
Adding to the intrigue, netizens pointed out that both Kim and Paulo reportedly unfollowed Star Cinema on social media, fueling speculations of tension between the lead stars and the production company.
Paulo Avelino’s recent post on X (formerly Twitter) further sparked discussions among fans. The actor tweeted: “Ma-experience nga na hindi tumapos ng pelikula.”

This statement quickly went viral, contributing to the hashtags #StarCinema and #WELOVEYOUKIMPAU trending online.
Fans of the KimPau love team expressed their frustration and aired their sentiments about what they perceive as poor handling of the project by Star Cinema. Many pointed out the lack of promotional activities for the film and raised concerns over the sudden change in schedule.
I don’t think Star Cinema is purposely sabotaging this film cause that doesn’t make any sense. Pls also stop w/ the “ayaw maungusan ang fave” theory like let’s be real, we’re not expecting 1B gross lol. The true issue is their lack of preparation and vision for this project.

On the contrary, SC knows better. Kaya wag kayo mag worry, ipapalabas din yan soon.
And I, thank you! https://t.co/5W5Dt3YstQ
