Former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Edward Barber shares a secret with his followers. The reason why he got interested in joining the reality show had something to do with Kapamilya’s famous love team Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil (LizQuen).
He narrated that the two once visited Dusseldorf, Germany and their family missed the chance to see them face-to-face. However, someone from The Filipino Channel (TFC) discovered him and his sister and gave them the idea of entering PBB.
What happened next were all unexpected.
The said person sent a photo of Edward to the ABS-CBN management and the show contacted him for an online interview. The next thing Edward knew was he’s already inside Kuya’s house!
“If we didn’t go to the concert of Liza and Enrique, that man wouldn’t have seen me, so I wouldn’t be here right now,” he reflects.
To his luck, the love team visited the show while they’re still housemates.
“Let’s just say that when I got out of the PBB house and got my phone back, I watched [our moments] again,” he recalled. “It was amazing.”
Edward also remembered how memorable that day was. He confessed that he was totally embarrassed by Liza because he hadn’t showered or brushed his teeth at that time.
“I had a date with her when she had a boyfriend! I’m very proud of that.” Edward says. “All housemates have different experiences inside the house and you don’t really know the reaction of the outside world. It takes a while to sink in,” he explains. “At that point, I really started to believe in it.”
