Fans of ABS-CBN’s energetic teen boyband group “Gimme5” would be thrilled to know that they’re back in the music scene with their much-awaited second album “Sophomore” under Star Music.
The five heartthrob members Nash Aguas, Joaquin Reyes, Grae Fernandez, Brace Arquiza and John Bermundo are also excited for their comeback. They’re featuring five original tracks including Nash’s composition of “First Love” and Joaquin’s “Hindi Ko Alam.”
Earlier at the Restaurant 9501 of ABS-CBN, the group launched the album to their media friends. They performed some songs from “Sophomore.”
Level-up
Gimme5 assured their fans that this album is going to be lit because it represents them in heart matters. They might not confess the full details, but they admitted that they’ve all gone through some heartaches and girl problems.
Expect a revved-up version of Gimme5 once you purchase their album. “Sophomore” is now available on all digital stores worldwide and record bars nationwide for only P199. The executive producers are Malou Santos and Roxy Liquigan while Jonathan Manalo is the supervising producer and DJ/Songwriter RB Kidwolf is their overall album producer.
The album’s carrier single is “Walang Dahilan” composed by Jay Sule which tackles how teenagers crush on someone. There are also other tracks entitled “Napapangiti” composed by Rox Santos and “Hanggang Tingin Nalang” by Miles Blue Sy that are set to make fans inspired and go LSS!
“Sophomore” received a gold award from the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI).
