Veterinarian and multi-talented newcomer Doc Megan Marie recently made her official showbiz debut as a special guest at the Magic Voyz concert held at Viva Café last October 27.
Managed by Lito de Guzman, Megan’s performance marked her entry into the entertainment industry, where she aims to showcase her diverse skills as a singer, dancer, and fashion designer.
Already established as a veterinarian, Megan’s clinic near ABS-CBN serves several celebrity clients, including Vice Ganda, Erik Santos, Niño Muhlach, Jolina Magdangal, and Carla Abellana. She shared that bringing joy through performing offers a unique fulfillment: “Sa pagpe-perform kasi, nakapagbibigay ka ng joy sa mga tao. Tapos parang naha-hype up mo sila. Nagiging bata sila kapag nanonood sila, so ‘yung mga problema nila, worries sa buhay, nawawala iyon panandalian.”
Known for her wide-ranging talents, Megan’s background includes studies in law, which she initially pursued before switching to veterinary medicine, ultimately earning her degree. She plans to complete her law studies in the future and also runs her own fashion design business, creating the outfits for the Magic Voyz, which led to her being scouted by de Guzman.
Currently, Megan has no time for romance as she focuses on her blossoming career. The performance at Viva Café was a special moment for her as she debuted alongside the rising all-male group, Magic Voyz, another talent managed by de Guzman.
