Fresh from being crowned the Big Winner of ‘Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Gen 11,’ Fyang Smith is reveling in her newfound success and looking ahead to a promising future in showbiz.
The “Amakabogera Influencer of Mandaluyong” made history as her victory garnered over 2.2 million live views, setting a record for PBB viewership and cementing her win as one of the most-watched moments in Philippine TV history.
In a press conference following her win, the 18-year-old expressed gratitude for the support she received during her time in the PBB house. “Matagal na ako nanunuod ng PBB,” Smith shared, reminiscing about her admiration for former Big Winner Maymay Entrata, who inspired her to chase her own dream of entering the PBB house. “Siya naging inspiration ko… hindi siya nahiya to be herself,” Smith said of her idol, adding that her win feels “overwhelming.”
Looking to the future, Smith is eager to explore acting, hoping to work on film and television projects. She has a particular goal in mind: a collaboration with her long-time crush and former PBB housemate Kyle Echarri. “Si Kyle talaga first crush ko. Until now, crush na crush ko,” Smith admitted.
Smith also shared plans to spend time with family and friends following her months in the PBB house. “Very first ko gagawin is ilabas family ko,” she said, adding she’s especially excited to visit her favorite spot in Tanay with her best friends.
Reflecting on her journey from aspiring housemate to Big Winner, Smith hopes to inspire others the way Maymay Entrata inspired her years ago. She shared, “Now, I hope ako din nakainspire. Yung heart ko sobrang masaya, buong katawan.”
Smith’s triumphant run in ‘PBB Gen 11,’ which saw her gain 30.66% of the final votes, not only launched her career but affirmed her belief that dreams can indeed come true.
