Singer-songwriter Angela Ken makes her music comeback with an uplifting message of finding hope and genuine love in her back-to-back music releases “Pansinin Mo Naman Ako” and “Kulimlim.”
“Pansinin Mo Naman Ako” marks Angela’s first single under Inspire Music which speaks about encouraging oneself to have faith in God’s plan. It was written by Jamie Rivera with music by Moy Ortiz of The CompanY.
Angela meanwhile wrote “Kulimlim” as a love letter about finding the right person and choosing to stand by their side through thick and thin. It was produced by Nameless Kids’ lead vocalist Nhiko Sabiniano and released under Tarsier Records.
This year, Angela starred in the musicals “Once on this Island” and “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.” The Kapamilya artist rose to prominence after she shared the creative process behind her first single “Ako Naman Muna” which became a phenomenal hit. In 2022, she released her self-titled debut album which earned over 52 million streams on Spotify.
She also received various accolades such as Best Inspirational Song for “Ako Naman Muna” at the 2022 Awit Awards and Best Secular Song for “It’s Okay Not To Be Okay” at the 44th Catholic Mass Media Awards (CMMA). Her single “Kulimlim” is featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday Philippines.
