Louise delos Reyes is now officially a Viva artist!
Her contract with GMA Artist Center expired earlier this year and the actress said that she felt entitled to explore more in her career.
“This year din po kasi nag-expire ang contract ko. May option naman po ako na mag-try sa iba. Parang as an artist, I want to explore more, I want to experience, and meet new people.”
After her contract expiration, Louise focused on writing for lifestyle blogs and travelling.
Louise version 2.0
She signed under Viva Artists Agency (VAA) last Sunday, April 30.
During a pocket presscon prepared for her by Viva in their office in Tektite Building, Ortigas, Pasig City yesterday, the 24-year-old actress clarified that she had a good farewell with her former network.
“Hindi naman porke’t umalis, hindi na masaya.
“Happy naman kami nung magpaalam ako sa kanila, nung nagsabi ako.”
She also shared that she’s curious on taking various roles, like what she recently did with Cinema One’s “Baka Bukas” where she played a lesbian.
“So, yun talaga, parang na-open yung mata ko na ang dami ko pa palang puwedeng i-try.
“Kaya now that I was given that chance, siyempre gusto ko nang itodo na.”
Louise told the press that as she enters a new environment, she would be transitioning into a brand new image as well. She expressed her interest on portraying more mature characters.
“Opo, kasi parang it comes with age na rin.
“I’m not saying na I’m super old, kasi I’m only 24, pero tapos na ako sa pa-tweetums.
“I’m saying na I’m not open with love teams, pero I want to be an actor, yung kabuuan ng pagiging artista itself.”
When asked about the possibility of working with close company of Viva, ABSCBN, Louise did not reject the idea. In fact, she is very open to it.
“Opo, I’m very open with that idea.
“And I think, since I’m with Viva now, mailalagay nila ako sa tamang side.
“And I’m very open kahit saan nila ako ilagay.”
