coach and therapist known for working with Olympic gymnast Carlos Yulo, Hazel Calawod, recently addressed the viral photo of her and TV host Willie Revillame that sparked conversations online.
The photo showed the two in a seemingly private discussion, leading to speculations from netizens.
During the Watsons ‘Move with PowHER’ event on October 14 in Makati City, Hazel explained that the meeting was purely professional.
Revillame had approached her for advice on health and fitness, particularly to improve his physical and mental endurance ahead of his upcoming Senate campaign.
“I think he understands that when he’s going to run for his campaign. It will increase the physical demand and mental demands on the person na rin, right?,” Calawod shared during the event.
She also humorously responded to comments about her outfit in the viral photo, which showed her in high heels while Revillame was in workout attire. “I think I got some bashers dahil sa heels na suot ko, pero don’t worry guys, it was just an initial consultation. No gym training yet, wala pa,” she clarified, laughing off the remarks.

The viral photo may have caused a stir, but Hazel emphasized that her focus remains on her professional work, assisting her clients in achieving their health goals.
