As the nation’s premier digital entertainment platform, BingoPlus unveils its latest game: Pinoy Drop Ball. This new game is based on the nostalgic Drop Ball, familiar to many Filipinos who played it at peryas or town fairs during their youth. This is the latest addition to the “Perya” offering of BingoPlus, where they initially introduced well-loved games like Pula Puti, Color Game, and Mega Bingo —classics often seen in town fairs, but with added twists to make them more enjoyable and with bigger prizes to win.
Pinoy Drop Ball was officially launched on September 25 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Taguig City. BingoPlus brand ambassador Maine Mendoza-Atayde attended the event. Maine shared her excitement for Pinoy Drop Ball, as she’s very familiar with it and the Color Game, both of which bring back childhood memories from her younger days in Bulacan.
Meanwhile, DigiPlus Interactive Corp. Chairman Eusebio H. Tanco emphasized that as a brand deeply connected to Filipino culture, BingoPlus’s mission has always been to elevate traditional Pinoy entertainment and adapt it for the modern era—just like they’ve done with Bingo Mega, Color Game, Pula Puti, and now, Pinoy Drop Ball. He hopes that this new addition will rekindle nostalgic excitement among Filipinos and deepen their engagement with the BingoPlus platform.
AB Leisure Exponent, Inc. President Jasper Vicencio added during the media conference that BingoPlus’s Pinoy Drop Ball, the first and only Drop Ball game in the Philippines, is a 23-hour live game that brings more excitement and rewards, with jackpots reaching up to x200. Players can enjoy a nostalgic playground experience combined with the convenience of an online platform, allowing them to play anytime, anywhere, without limitations. Payouts vary based on results: a x2 payout for one ball on a card, a x3 payout for two balls, and a surprise multiplier ranging from x4 to x200 in a special Pachinko round triggered by three balls landing on a card. Players can also participate in the game for as low as Php 5.
BingoPlus promises to develop more digital games deeply rooted in Filipino culture, with substantial investments in research and development to ensure that future games, like Pinoy Drop Ball, truly capture the spirit of joy found in local town fiestas—all while bringing them to life in a convenient, mobile-friendly format.
Also present at the BingoPlus Pinoy Drop Ball launch were Kapuso singer-actress Julie Anne San Jose and the P-Pop group Alamat.
