Actress Liza Soberano has officially parted ways with Careless, the talent management agency founded by James Reid, after almost two years of partnership.
The separation was confirmed by Careless through an Instagram Story on September 30, stating that Soberano’s contract with the agency ended on July 29, 2024.
“Liza Soberano is no longer under Careless Music Management effective July 29, 2024. It has been a pleasure to have represented her, and we wish her the best in all of her endeavors,” read the statement.
Soberano’s move to Careless in 2022 made headlines as it marked a shift in her career. She expressed her excitement about the “creative freedom and control” the agency would offer. The transition also stirred controversy as it came after her departure from longtime manager Ogie Diaz and prompted discussions about her career and brand decisions.
In recent weeks, it was reported by LionhearTV that Max Nagler of Verve Talent & Literary Agency had taken over managing Liza for commercial endorsements and brand partnerships. However, on October 1, Wild Management made an announcement on their Instagram account, officially welcoming the actress.
“We’re so happy to welcome the talented Filipino-American actress Liza Soberano to our WILD family,” Wild Management posted.
