Former ‘Tween Hearts’ stars Louise Delos Reyes and Bea Binene returned to GMA Network as guests on ‘Fast Talk with Boy Abunda’ this Tuesday, October 1, years after leaving the network.
Louise left GMA Network eight years ago, while Bea’s contract was not renewed in 2021. But the question on everyone’s mind remains: Do they have any regrets about leaving the network?
During the interview, Bea expressed that she has no regrets about her decision to leave and is filled with gratitude for the 18 years she spent with GMA Network.
“egret no. Ako, I’m just grateful and blessed to GMA because I have been here for 18 years. They have taught me a lot, I’ve experienced so much, I met so many people who shaped who I am today. Siguro, syempre, tayo we always want to explore and widen our reach and opportunities ganyan but now I’m freelance, I’m handled by Viva…and I’m still very grateful. It’s really nice to see everyone here kasi naging tita, ate, kuya ko na po sila,” Bea shared.
Now a freelance artist managed by Viva, Bea admitted that she misses GMA, which became her comfort zone for many years.
“Siguro not regret, it’s just that I feel like I stepped out of my comfort zone kasi when I transfered, and sometimes it’s nice na to have a sense of familiarity. Sometimes you tend to get overwhelmed with that very unfamiliar world outside and sometimes you just miss being here. I miss the company here because my friends are here and, again, this was like my comfort zone, this was like my home,” she added.
For Louise, while there were regrets, they ultimately led to personal and professional growth.
“Meron akong regrets pero ‘yung mga regrets kasi na ‘yon parang naging okay na ko do’n kasi kung ‘di dahil sa mga ginawa ko before, hindi ako magiging si Louise ngayon,” Louise admitted.
Like Bea, Louise also expressed her deep gratitude to GMA Network, the network that played a significant role in shaping her career.
In addition to their return to GMA Network, Louise and Bea will be seen together on the big screen in the upcoming film ‘Pasahero’, set to premiere on October 9, 2024. Directed by Roman Perez, Jr., the film revolves around a crime that takes place on a train, witnessed by seven passengers. The movie also stars Mark Anthony Fernandez, Yumi Garcia, Andre Yllana, and Keann Johnson.
Produced by Viva Films and JPHLiX Films, ‘Pasahero’ promises to be a must-watch when it hits theaters nationwide this October.
