Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Dee shocked her followers by revealing on Instagram that her car had recently been stolen.
What’s more surprising is that the culprit turned out to be someone close to her—a neighbor who worked and lived in one of her properties.
In a detailed Instagram post, the beauty queen-actress shared the unfortunate incident, explaining, “My car was stolen and recently retrieved in the Philippines. Unfortunately a regular creative and his girlfriend that worked and lived in one of my apartments in Manila has admitted responsibility for it.”
Michelle expressed her disappointment, highlighting the betrayal she felt after trusting the individual. “It’s honestly so unfortunate when you trust, forgive, and build people up only for them to go behind you and prioritize their own personal agendas. My supporters from day one would probably decipher who this is but let’s stay calm and hope he delivers,” she said.
The beauty queen issued a stern warning, stating that if her stolen car and other personal belongings weren’t returned promptly, she would be forced to go public with the names of those involved. “I’m currently handling this internally but if my deliverables, properties that are under their possession and materials that are under signed valued storage aren’t returned then my hand will be forced to take their names and this story to the press.”
Michelle also reminded her followers to be cautious about who they trust, saying, “Professionalism and proper communication is all we asked for. Be careful who you trust and give access to.”
As of now, the matter is being dealt with privately, but the beauty queen has hinted that further action could be taken if the issue is not resolved.
