TV5’s ‘Wil to Win,’ the variety show hosted by Willie Revillame, is making changes to its timeslot and format. Starting Monday, September 16, the show will air at 5:00 p.m., moving from its previous 4:30 p.m. schedule.
The adjustment follows the removal of the 30-minute segment ‘Sakorera,’ which aired at the start of the program without Willie. The segment, hosted by Cindy Miranda, Ana Ramsey, Roberta Tamondong, and others, will no longer be part of the show.
Willie explained the decision to viewers during the September 13 episode, stating that it was based on audience preference.
“Alas singko na po tayo magsisimula. Five o’clock para kasama niyo na kaagad ako,” Willie said. He noted that viewers wanted to see him as soon as the show began, prompting the change.
Looking ahead, Willie hinted at big surprises for his loyal audience, especially as the holiday season approaches. “Marami pa kaming sorpresa at regalo this coming Pasko. Itong October, anong mangyayari sa ‘Wil to Win?’ Abangan niyo po ang aming announcement,” he teased.
The veteran host also mentioned exciting developments in store for TV5, saying, “Anong mangyayari sa TV5? Marami pong bago dito. Ang importante para sa inyo ito.”

Despite a strong start during its premiere on July 14, which garnered a 3.0% rating, ‘Wil to Win’ experienced a steady decline in ratings. By the end of July, the show’s viewership dropped to its lowest point of 1.3%. Recent controversies, including on-air confrontations between Willie and his staff, and an incident where he hung up on a contestant who supported a rival show, have also added to the buzz surrounding the program.
