Kapuso actor Ken Chan is reportedly facing legal troubles as Ogie Diaz revealed in the latest episode of ‘Showbiz Update.’ According to Diaz, Chan is currently evading a warrant of arrest related to a case of estafa, which has stirred significant discussion among fans and media.
In the September 9 episode of their YouTube vlog, Diaz, along with Mama Loi and Dyosa Pockoh, shared details about the ongoing legal issues involving Chan. Diaz presented documents indicating that Chan is charged with syndicated estafa under Article 315, Paragraph 2 (A) of the Revised Penal Code, in connection with Presidential Decree No. 1689.
Diaz reported that the case involves allegations from individuals who claim their investments were mismanaged by Chan.
The controversy also includes claims that Chan’s business partner left the partnership, with suggestions that this individual might be implicated in the financial issues. Diaz questioned whether Chan’s recent departure from a television series was linked to these legal matters but confirmed that Chan has not responded to attempts to reach him for clarification.
Diaz urged Chan to address the situation directly, emphasizing the need for transparency and resolution.
In a lighter moment, Mama Loi and Dyosa Pockoh expressed their hopes for a resolution to the issue, while Diaz humorously commented on Chan’s recent Instagram post, which featured a photo of fried noodles and eggs.
LionhearTV is open to receiving comments from Ken Chan or his representatives regarding the allegations.
