Diamond Star Maricel Soriano has been the subject of admiration on social media after ‘Lavender Fields’ executive producer Hazel Parfan shared a story highlighting the actress’s professionalism and dedication to her work.
In Parfan’s Facebook post on September 9, she mentioned that the official call time for the cast and crew was 10:45 AM. However, Soriano arrived at 9:30 AM, fully prepared and already made-up. Despite the lack of an air-conditioned tent at the taping location, the veteran actress didn’t complain and was content to stay in a spot with just an electric fan.
“10:45 AM call time on the set, arrived at 9:30 AM ready, made-up. No aircon tent in our 1st location, ‘no problem… ok lang ako dito sa tabi with electric fan,'” Parfan wrote in her post.
Netizens were quick to commend Soriano for her positive attitude, punctuality, and readiness, with many highlighting that such professionalism should serve as an example, especially for younger actors in the industry.
Netizens commented “Salute”, while others expressed amazement at Soriano’s work ethic, saying, “The Diamond Star truly stands out!”
