Kapuso actor Ken Chan has issued a public warning regarding a fraudulent Telegram account impersonating him and scamming people by asking for money.
The fake account, using the handle @akosikennchan, closely mimics Ken’s official social media username @akosikenchan, with only a subtle difference—an extra “n.”
In an Instagram Story post, Ken alerted his followers, stating, “Hello everyone, if ever you received a message from this Telegram account, please ignore and report it because he is using my name to ask for money from my family and friends.”
The scam also targeted his manager at Sparkle, Vic del Rosario (not to be confused with the Viva big boss of the same name). Both Ken and his management urged the public to be cautious and report any suspicious activity involving the fake account.
Ken’s warning post was also sha5red on his Facebook account making it his latest post 4 days ago. Additionally, his last Instagram post dates back to July 23, raising questions about his recent social media silence.
As of now, Ken has not released further statements, leaving fans concerned and eager for updates from the actor amid his unexpected online absence.
