This comes as Chiu and Avelino recently announced their upcoming romantic-comedy film, ‘My Love Will Make You Disappear,’ during an episode of ‘It’s Showtime.’
Directed by Chad Vidanes, the film marks a return to the classic rom-com genre under Star Cinema. Vidanes expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “We all missed the true blue rom-com films from Star Cinema, especially pre-pandemic. This year, we’re part of something exciting.”
The film, conceived by Prime Cruz and written by Patrick Valencia and Isabella Policarpio, promises to explore “how the magic of love can make things go wild and fun.”
Chiu and Avelino first worked together in the 2023 series ‘Linlang’alongside JM de Guzman. They also headlined the local adaptation of the K-drama ‘What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim?’ earlier this year.
