Veteran actor Niño Muhlach is calling for prayers and support as his family seeks justice for his son, Sandro Muhlach, who has filed a formal complaint against two individuals at the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
In a Facebook post on Friday evening, Niño Muhlach shared the profound distress his family has experienced. “Our family has suffered so much because of the unspeakable and vile acts done to our son,” he wrote.
“We ask for your prayers to help us muster enough strength and courage to withstand the horror of re-living the dastardly acts of the perpetrators as we seek justice through our legal system. Thank you for all your support and kind words and your gracious gift of space. We truly appreciate it,” he added.
According to a report by ’24 Oras’ on Friday, Sandro was accompanied by his father when he filed the formal complaint.
On Thursday, GMA Network issued a statement acknowledging receipt of a formal complaint from Sandro against two of their independent contractors, Jojo Tawasil Nones and Richard Dode Cruz. The network highlighted that they had already begun an internal investigation into the matter before receiving the formal complaint.
Recognizing the gravity of the alleged incident, GMA Network has yet to disclose further details regarding the ongoing investigation.
In a brief text message to GMA Integrated News, Sandro conveyed his current state: “Hindi po ako OK pero kakayanin ko po.”
Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque, the legal counsel representing Nones and Cruz, issued a statement asserting that the “allegations do not mirror the true accounts of the event” and emphasized their right to respond appropriately once they receive a copy of the formal complaint.
GMA Network first addressed the situation earlier this week following social media posts about the alleged violation of the actor’s son by two men.
The Muhlach family continues to seek justice, drawing strength from the public’s support during this challenging time.
