ABS-CBN is heating up its weekend programming with the premieres of ‘Pinoy Big Brother’s newest season, PBB Gen 11, and its newest game show, ‘Rainbow Rumble.’ How did Filipino viewers respond to these new shows?
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey, PBB Gen 11 and Rainbow Rumble received generally positive feedback, achieving decent ratings.
On Saturday, July 20, ‘Rainbow Rumble,’ hosted by Luis Manzano, garnered a rating of 4.8 percent, placing 11th on the overall Saturday leaderboard. PBB Gen 11, on the other hand, recorded a rating of 3.2 percent, taking the 15th position on the ratings chart.
The next day, Sunday, July 21, ‘Rainbow Rumble’ climbed to the 7th spot on the overall Sunday ratings board, despite a 0.9 percent drop in its rating to 3.9 percent. No ratings report was released for PBB Gen 11 that day.
The two new shows was also widely received online as ‘Royal Rumble’ registered a total combined peak concurrent views of more than 245 thousand.

Likewise, PBB also generated much online buzz as it topped trending topics on X (formerly Twitter) and also reaching more than 100 thousand live concurrent views on its premiere.

PBB airs every Saturday at 8:30 PM and Sunday at 9:30 PM, while ‘Royal Rumble’ airs 7:15 PM and 8:15 PM on Kapamilya Channel, Kapamilya Online Live, A2Z, iWantTFC, and TV5,
Meanwhile, the Saturday leaderboard was dominated by ‘Running Man Philippines,’ which posted a rating of 12.2 percent, followed by ‘Magpakailanman’ with 11.6 percent. ‘Abot Kamay Na Pangarap’ took third place with a rating of 9.4 percent, while ‘Pepito Manaloto’ secured the 4th spot with 8.8 percent. Rounding out the top 5 was ’24 Oras Weekend,’ earning a rating of 8.7 percent.
On Sunday, ‘Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho’ led the overall ratings with an 18.0 percent rating. ‘Running Man PH’ maintained the number 2 spot with a rating of 13.3 percent, while ‘BBLGANG’ held the 3rd position with 10.5 percent. ’24 Oras Weekend’ took the 4th spot with 9.0 percent, and ‘Resibo: Walang Lusot Ang May Atraso’ completed the top 5 with a rating of 5.4 percent.
