Actors Christine Bermas and Nico Locco have officially addressed the cheating allegations that surfaced during their appearance on ‘EXpecially For You,’ a segment of ‘It’s Showtime.’
The couple, who reconciled in June, made their renewed relationship public at the press conference for the Vivamax movie ‘Kaskasero’ on Saturday.
Nico’s supportive presence at the event, where he accompanied Christine, did not go unnoticed by the entertainment press and vloggers.’
“Last week of June kami nagkabalikan,” Nico confirmed when asked about their status.
Christine expressed her joy at their reunion, emphasizing that Nico was her first boyfriend. “He’s my first boyfriend,” she said, to which Nico lovingly replied, “Hopefully I’m also the last!”
Nico took the opportunity to clarify the cheating allegations. He admitted that he had cheated on Christine in the early days of their relationship, before they became serious. “Pero noong serious na ‘yung relationship namin ni Christine, never na akong nag-cheat sa kanya!” he explained.
Nico also stressed that even during their time apart, he did not engage in relationships with other women. “Never na. Kahit noong naghiwalay kami, walang ibang babae. Hindi ako nag-cheat na sa kanya,” he added.
In a previous interview with DZRH on June 8, 2023, Christine disclosed that she had lost her virginity to Nico during their relationship. The couple had parted ways after more than two years together. Their candid discussion about the ups and downs of their relationship was first brought to light during their appearance on ‘EXpecially For You’ on May 7, 2024.
