Lawson, a leading Japanese convenience store chain with over 20,000 locations across six countries, has teamed up with Levanga Hokkaido, a professional basketball team from Sapporo, to offer exclusive products inspired by Filipino-Japanese basketball star Dwight Ramos.
Dwight Ramos, who started his professional basketball career in the Philippines, has been a standout player for Levanga Hokkaido for two years. To celebrate his success and connect with fans, Lawson Philippines and Levanga Hokkaido have collaborated to create special products under the Lawson Creations brand. These items are crafted by celebrities, content creators, and athletes, specifically for fans.
The following exclusive Dwight Ramos creations are now available at all Lawson stores nationwide:
California Style Naked Burrito
This open-faced burrito features seasoned pork in Cajun and cumin, salsa, tortilla chips, and Mexican rice topped with cilantro, served with garlic sauce on the side. Priced at ₱115, it reflects Dwight’s Californian roots.
Hokkaido Style Double Cream Eclair
A delightful choux pastry filled with custard cream, dipped in white chocolate, topped with sweet cream, and drizzled with milk chocolate, available for ₱82. This treat highlights Hokkaido’s famous dairy products.
Hokkaido White Chocolate Espresso
This limited-time drink blends white chocolate, full cream milk, and espresso made from 100% Ethiopian arabica beans, finished with sweet whipped cream and drizzled with milk chocolate. It is available at all Cup & Go coffee bars in 16oz for ₱110 or 22oz for ₱120, until August 4, 2024.
Fans purchasing any Lawson x Levanga Hokkaido collaboration products will also receive limited edition Dwight Ramos photo cards, with three designs to collect. Those who collected all three photo cards had the opportunity to join a grand fan meet event at One Ayala Mall.
The event included a live raffle, offering lucky attendees a chance for a meet and greet with Ramos and the opportunity to win Levanga Hokkaido merchandise signed by him, including items he wore during his season.
The collaboration culminated in a memorable day for fans of Dwight Ramos, also known as “St. Dwight,” who enjoyed the unique Lawson creations and the chance to interact with their basketball idol.
