Kapamilya actor Enrique Gil proved he really supports his on-screen partner Liza Soberano.
Since Angel Locsin withdrew from playing the role of “Darna,” Liza Soberano was one of the Kapamilya actresses whose being considered to don the red-and-gold costume.
In her interview with ABS-CBN’s Push, Liza said she hopes Star Cinema will consider her as the one who will portray Darna.
Meanwhile, Enrique stressed he will always support the 19-year-old on her future projects. He said, “I’m always gonna support her. Kung s’ya talaga, s’ya talaga.”
This was not the first time Enrique backs Liza up.
Prior to 65th Miss Universe coronation night, Enrique said Liza could be the next Miss Universe. Enrique emphasized that Liza would still be his Miss Universe whether the latter pursue her career in joining beauty pageants or not.
Then, in March, the Kapamilya actor encouraged LizQuen fans to vote for Liza on Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards.
