Renz Joshua Baña, popularly known as Baby Giant, faces a daunting challenge as he steps into the shoes of Dagul Pastrana on the revived kiddie gag show ‘Goin’ Bulilit.’
In an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN News, Baby Giant candidly expressed both excitement and nervousness about his new role, graciously acknowledging the responsibility entrusted to him by the show’s director, Bobot Mortiz. “Na pressure po talaga ako, kasi first time ko talaga first time ang mga nangyayari sa akin na ganito masaya kaya thankful ako sa mga nangyayari sa buhay ko ngayon,” he revealed.
Replacing Dagul, a beloved figure on ‘Goin Bulilit,’ comes with immense expectations, as Baby Giant recognizes the significant legacy left by his predecessor.
Meanwhile, addressing recent speculations, Dagul’s daughter, Jkhriez Pastrana, took to TikTok to clarify the situation surrounding her father’s departure from the show. “Gusto ko lang i-clear sa inyo, na hindi ako malungkot dahil wala si Papa sa ‘Goin’ Bulilit’,” she emphasized in a video statement.
Jkhriez conveyed his support for the show’s new direction and expressed hope for a positive environment moving forward. Mas gusto ko lang na clear tayong lahat and good vibes,” she added.
The highly anticipated return of ‘Goin’ Bulilit’ is set to premiere on July 1, airing just before TV Patrol.
