Rumors are circulating about the relationship status between actress Yen Santos and actor Paolo Contis, following statements from Yen’s mother, Lilian Santos, suggesting her disapproval of Paolo.
In an interview with Jobert Sucaldito, Lilian Santos denied any romantic involvement between Yen and Paolo, adding fuel to the speculation about their rumored breakup.
The topic was discussed in the ‘Showbiz Now Na’ vlog hosted by Cristy Fermin, Wendell Alvarez, and Romel Chika. Romel noted that Yen’s mother has been firmly denying the relationship, which might be influenced by her disapproval of Paolo.
Never, never!” Romel commented.
Cristy Fermin questioned the source of Lilian Santos’ denial, considering that both Yen and Paolo had previously confirmed their relationship. Wendell Alvarez suggested that Yen’s mother might be unaware of the relationship details and thus denied it when asked.
Cristy pointed out that the disapproval might stem from Paolo’s history with past relationships.
Paolo’s reputation and past relationships, notably with Lian Paz and LJ Reyes, where he faced criticism for allegedly not supporting his children, might be causing concern for Yen’s family.
The vlog hosts also discussed the possibility that Yen’s secure financial status might make her reconsider the relationship. Cristy Fermin highlighted that Yen had saved enough during her career to live comfortably without needing financial support from Paolo.
Manager Lolit Solis speculated that Yen and Paolo might have simply grown apart. I just woke up one day I don’t love you or him/her anymore,” she said.
Romel concluded by pointing out that women often leave relationships when they sense a lack of commitment from their partner. May ganu’n, eh.”
The hosts noted that long-term relationships in showbiz often end unexpectedly, emphasizing the uncertainty in Yen and Paolo’s situation.
As rumors continue to circulate, LionhearTV remains open to hearing both Yen and Paolo’s sides of the story to clarify the real status of their relationship.
