GMA Network’s primetime series have achieved a new milestone by outperforming all of their ABS-CBN Primetime Bida rivals.
According to the latest Nielsen NUTAM People survey ratings, all GMA Prime series surpassed their respective Kapamilya competitors.
On Thursday, June 6, ‘Black Rider’ secured its fifth consecutive victory against ‘FPJ’s Batang Quiapo (FPJBQ)’ with a rating of 13.6 percent, edging out the latter’s 13.4 percent.
Similarly, ‘Black Rider’s’ follow-up program, ‘My Guardian Alien (MGA),’ also triumphed over its Kapamilya counterpart ‘Linlang.’ The series, led by Marian Rivera, achieved a rating of 10.9 percent, 1.3 percent higher than ‘Linlang’s’ 9.6 percent.
In the third primetime slot, ‘Asawa Ng Asawa Ko (ANAK)’ continued its dominance over the young-adult drama thriller ‘High Street,’ registering a rating of 7.9 percent, significantly higher than ‘High Street’s’ 4.2 percent.
However, prior to this sweep, Primetime Bida shows had recorded more wins against GMA Prime series.
On Monday, June 3, FPJBQ topped the overall ratings chart with 13.6 percent, compared to ‘Black Rider’s’ 11.8 percent. MGA narrowly defeated ‘Linlang’ with 9.5 percent versus 9.1 percent. ANAK posted a rating of 7.0 percent against ‘High Street’s’ 4.1 percent.
On Tuesday, June 4, FPJBQ maintained its lead with a rating of 14.0 percent, outscoring ‘Black Rider’s’ 12.2 percent. Linlang took the lead against MGA, 11.0 percent versus 9.7 percent. ANAK continued its lead against ‘High Street’ with a rating of 6.8 percent compared to 4.8 percent.
On Wednesday, June 5, FPJBQ held its leadership position with a rating of 14.0 percent, 2.0 percent higher than ‘Black Rider’s’ 12.0 percent. Linlang also retained its timeslot win, scoring 10.0 percent against MGA’s 9.4 percent. ANAK remained unbeaten with a rating of 7.1 percent compared to ‘High Street’s’ 4.1 percent.
