Stars of the movie ‘When Magic Hurts,’ Beaver Magtalas and Mutya Orquia, confirmed on May 15 that their friendship might blossom into something more.
The two have been close friends, but Magtalas hinted that there could be something beyond friendship.
“We’re friends. We started off as friends. Mini-mean ko po iyan na friends po kami,” he said during an interview at SM Megamall. “Well, who knows? Even we don’t know that. We don’t know for sure. Only time will tell. Malalaman po namin.”
In the meantime, both young stars are not ready to commit to a relationship just yet, with Orquia having just made her debut on the big screen. Magtalas likewise does not see himself prepared to enter into a relationship since the movie is his first lead role.
“Totoo naman po, even I. I know for a fact na hindi rin po ako ready to have a girlfriend with everything that’s been happening for the both of us who want to focus on our careers,” Magtalas explained.
‘When Magic Hurts’ is a romantic comedy film directed by Gabby Ramos under REMS Entertainment Production. It also stars Maxine Trinidad and Claudine Barretto. The movie was inspired by the 2002 film ‘Got 2 Believe,’ which starred Claudine Barretto and the late Rico Yan.
