Kwon Jung Yeul, the singer-songwriter popularly known as 10CM, revealed on May 6 that he is open to pursuing a musical career in the Philippines under certain conditions.
The Korean artist, famous for his OST ‘Tell Me It’s Not A Dream’ from the series ‘Queen of Tears,’ expressed his interest in exploring opportunities in the Philippines.
“Okay lang sa akin. Kasi iniisip ko, there’s a lot of funny things na mangyayari dito sa Philippines,” his translator shared during an interview at Vanilla Cafe in Quezon City.
However, Yeul clarified that he does not intend to permanently reside in the country due to his family commitments in South Korea. Instead, he prefers traveling back and forth to spend time with his loved ones while pursuing his career.
“Pero, if there’s a chance na p’wede pabalik-balik na lang siguro, yeah, p’wede pabalik-balik na lang ako.”
Currently, Yeul is visiting the Philippines as a guest at TJ Monterde’s concert and will also headline his own ‘Closer to You’ Asian Tour concert on August 31 in the country.
Tickets for his concert will go on sale starting May 30, priced between P1,600 to P5,300.
