Ayah Alfonso, the latest addition to the Vivamax roster of sexy stars, unveiled her ambitions on May 4, expressing her desire to leverage her status as a sexy star to secure opportunities with major TV networks such as GMA Network or ABS-CBN.
Speaking at a press conference held at her Crave Resto and Haya Bar in Maypajo, Caloocan City, Alfonso outlined her aspirations beyond Vivamax. Alongside her Vivamax stint, she aims to follow the footsteps of sexy stars like AJ Raval and Angeli Khang, who successfully transitioned to other networks.
“Bukod po sa pagVi-Vivamax, makakuha po ng mga endorsement. Nilu-look forward ko rin po na makatawid ng ibang network, like GMA or ABS [CBN], kung saan po fit ang personality or ‘yung talent ko po,” she explained.
Alfonso emphasized her desire to establish herself as a serious actress, highlighting her eagerness to collaborate with diverse actors and directors and explore various roles to unleash her full potential.
“Nagugustuhan ko sa ginagawa ko is nakakasalamuha ako ng ibang tao; nakakaharap ng ibang mga directors; nailalabas ko pa po kung ano pa po ‘yung tinatago ko sa sarili ko. Kung ano po ‘yung galing ko, or kung ano po ‘yung talent ko. So, nilu-look forward ko po na bukod sa Vivamax, makatawid po ng ibang network. Para mas mailabas pa kung anong kailangang ilabas sa akin. Bukod po sa pagpapa-sexy, gusto ko pa pong maipakita kung anong talento mayroon ako. ‘Yun nga po, ginugusto ko na minsan maging kontrabida, or may iyakan,” she elaborated.
Expressing her admiration for veteran actresses such as Nora Aunor and Vilma Santos, Alfonso expressed her willingness to engage in challenging scenes, including physical confrontations, with these esteemed figures.
“Sila po kasi ang mas challenging kapag sila ang naka-eksena. Parang kapag naka-eksena mo kasi sila, talagang alam mo sa sarili mo na ilalabas mo ang kailangan mong ilabas,” she remarked.
Alfonso’s journey began in car shows before transitioning to a career as a commercial model. After much contemplation, she decided to pursue acting, particularly in the realm of sexy roles. With her commitment to Vivamax, she is prepared to embrace any challenges that come her way, demonstrating her dedication to her craft.
“Kung ano man ang ibigay na project sa akin, super daring man po o ano, kailangan ko siyang gawin talaga. Kasi binuo ko po ‘yung loob ko para dito sa Vivamax na ito. Matagal ko din siyang pinag-isipan, ilang years din talaga, bago ko siya pinasok talaga,” she concluded.
