Showbiz personality Ogie Diaz recently addressed his stance regarding Bea Alonzo’s legal actions, emphasizing his understanding of Soberano’s decision to repost news related to the cyber libel case.
During the May 6 episode of his showbiz vlog, Diaz, accompanied by Loi Villarama and Dyosa Pockoh, underscored that being a subject of cyber libel cases is an inherent aspect of his profession as an entertainment news reporter.
“Sa akin walang problema ‘yun. Karapatan niya ‘yun eh. Twitter account niya ‘yun eh,” stated Ogie.
He further mentioned that if reposting such news would aid Soberano’s career, then she should feel free to do so. “Kung makakatulong sa career ni Liza ‘yung pagre-repost na ‘yun, eh di i-repost niya nang i-repost,” he said.
Soberano attracted attention earlier by liking and reposting a report concerning Alonzo’s cyber libel case against Diaz on her X (formerly Twitter) page.
During the vlog, Diaz conveyed that only he and Soberano are aware of the truth regarding their past, expressing his hope for her success in Hollywood.
As of press time, Alonzo has refrained from commenting on the cyber libel case against Diaz, Fermin, their co-hosts, and an anonymous netizen who claimed personal acquaintance with her.
