Veteran talent manager and showbiz columnist, Lolit Solis, expressed astonishment upon discovering Bea Alonzo’s decision to file a cyber libel case against Ogie Diaz, Cristy Fermin, and their associates.
In a recent Instagram post, Solis shared her thoughts on the significant development of the week.
Solis confessed to feeling remorse for her past written pieces concerning Bea Alonzo. However, she expressed relief that Alonzo did not take umbrage at them. Solis recognized that individuals have varying moods, and the timing of events can greatly influence outcomes.
She recounted her displeasure at the words uttered by Alonzo’s manager, Shirley Kuan. Nevertheless, Solis appreciated Alonzo’s gracious and forgiving demeanor during their encounter at a press conference. She stressed the importance of timing, as everyone experiences fluctuations in mood, and unfavorable circumstances can arise.
“In fact napikon pa ako sa binitawan salita nuon ni Shirley Kuan na ‘I will consult my lawyer’. But in fairness talaga at very thankful ako, naging very sweet at forgiving ni Bea Alonzo ng magkita kami sa isang presscon.
Solis also weighed in on Bea’s legal action against her colleagues, noting the unwavering determination of both parties to assert their righteousness and focus on the ultimate result of their actions. Drawing a parallel to Vhong Navarro’s decade-long legal ordeal, Solis remarked that both Alonzo and the writers she sued appear prepared to wait patiently for justice.
