Despite his looks and charisma, Andres Muhlach surprised many on April 15 by revealing that he has never been in a relationship.
“I have actually never had a girlfriend in my whole life,” the 22-year-old newbie actor shared during his launching after signing with Viva Artists Agency (VAA).
Standing at six-foot-two and loving basketball, it was surprising to discover that Andres has never gotten past the dating stage.
“Of course, I tried dating. You know, I’ve gone to a few dates in my life but ended going into the relationship level, it never really reached there.”
With looks inherited from his parents Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzales, Andres appears to have high standards when it comes to choosing a partner. But in reality, his ideal girl is simple.
“Really it’s just someone I can enjoy spending time with; someone that can make me laugh really; and also another important thing is a girl that is very God-fearing, and puts God first in her life. It’s a big factor for me because that shows me the fundamentals of how she is as a person,” described the newbie actor.
Is he not looking for a partner, even if only on screen?
Well, Andres said he is not closing his doors on the possibility of having a love team. However, a final decision has not been made regarding whether he will be paired with someone.
“There was no really like possible partners. They didn’t really show that to me. There was no love team in the options as of right now,” he noted.
